The city I love so much. Do these things and you will love it too.
1. Walk on Stone Arch Bridge.
One time I watched a couple get engaged on the bridge and almost started to cry. Other times I go to to Starbucks in Mill City.
2. Watch a sunset at Boom Island Park.
Boom Island park is like Central Park vibes.
3. Visit the Children's Museum.
You are never too old to go to the Children's museum. Try and change my mind.
4. Wait in line at Sally's Saloon in mid February.
I'm kind of kidding on this one but also you should just do it. It builds character.
5. Drive along Grand Ave. and look at all the mansions.
aka my dream houses.
6. Buy a candy bar from the candy bar guy.

7. Boat on Lake Minnetonka.
A time in my life that I felt luxurious.
8. I would say visit the Mall of America..but it's so over rated.
Go to like the Albertville Outlets, Eagan Outlet, Rosedale Center, Southdale Mall, Galleria in Edina, idk anywhere else.
9. Eat at any of these restaurants:
10. Walk around Lake Calhoun/Lake of the Isles.
A timeless activity. Can't go wrong with it. Also, more pretty houses.
11. Spend some time at the George Floyd Memorial.
I went here this summer. I felt small. Made me want to do better. Made me sad our city was/is hurting so much.
12. Spend way too much $$$$ on a meal at the Restoration Hardware restaurant in Edina.
I've only been here once and it was mostly for the instagram picture tbh. But it was nice to feel like I was super super rich for about an hour of my life.
13. Go to the sculpture garden.
If you take a picture with the cherry on a spoon, +20 points for being basic. But the art is actually so cool.
14. Go to a gopher football tailgate and game.
Never forget the tour guides that walked down frat row with parents and students staring at the belligerently drunk college students thinking that their child would not be going here, or the Iowa fan that peed his pants in front of me and I yelled at him and maybe made him cry or the time my friend projectile vomited in TCF 15 minutes into the game and was escorted out by my two friends (:
15. Shop at Buffalo exchange.
One of my favorite thrift stores everrr.
16. Visit the ice sculptures in January/February during the Winter Carnival.
You'd be impressed ice can do that.
17. MN STATE FAIR.
Sweet Martha's Cookies, french fries, milk shakes, animals, ferris wheel.
